We arrived in Daytona in the middle of the night, so the next morning we ventured out for the only option we could think of for breakfast. It was mediocre. Quality was lacking, and it felt a bit like cafeteria food. On the upside, the staff noticed that I didn't eat much of my meal, and seemed to care. But there's nothing they could have done to make me want more.

Food was tasteless. Lol. I was starving and about to faint, so I would eat anything at this point. Sadly. there really wasn't any flavor to it. I ordered a fajita omelet and it didn't even have salsa on it. Lol. The chicken inside was bland, and the rest of it also lacked any flavor. Hash browns were decent, but I dont think hashbrowns are very flavorful in general. So, it was Ketchup Time! I basically drowned the meal in it because the bland-ness was making my stomach frown. At least my friends' food tasted better (here we go again with my meal being subpar from everyone else's! hahaha). The service was OK. Waiter only came by to take our orders, bring our food, and all the minimum requirements. At least he was friendly. The best part about this place? Watching the drunken people stumble around outside the window. Hilarious! Also, the restaurant is open 24 hours.

We ate here three times while staying in Daytona. All 3 times our service was great. Food was good and quick and everything was fantastic. They didn't have any problem giving us drinks to go which was super nice because I like to chew ice. For an IHOP, this one rates far above the rest. Thanks to the staff there for awesome service and great food for a decent price!!!!

Simply way too expensive. It's ridiculous. They literally charge over $7 dollars for one plain waffle. Want another one? That'll be another $7 bucks please. It's ridiculous.

I'm not sure where to start. When we arrived the wait staff seemed to be arguing about schedules and seemed out out that we wanted to be seated. Our waitress was less than attentive and we had to ask for our beverages several times before they came but they were wrong so had to be sent back. The food was just ok but I would never have eaten it if I had know about the disgusting restrooms. When I went in there one of the cooks came out from the staff and didn't even bother to wash his hands. I was disgusted and will never return to this location.

I've been here many times and have always liked it. Their food is always consistent. But this time, something is not right in their kitchen. The grill was way too hot making the scrambled eggs brown and dried out on one side and wet and uncooked on the other. Very unappetizing. I couldn't eat them. It doesn't take much paying attention to figure out that that isn't something that anyone would want to eat.

This IHOP is literally seconds from the boardwalk, and is in a very convenient location to all the hotels and the beach. The service was good, nothing to brag about, but nothing to complain about. The place was clean, and my wife used the bathroom and said it was clean as well. It wasn't very busy for it only being 8:00, so we got seated immediately. My main complaints would have to be the portions. I frequent an IHOP out on Lee Road in Orlando, and when you order the Cinnastacks pancakes, you receive four. Same with the IHOP we stopped in while passing through South Carolina back in February. In fact, I think the menu even shows four right on it. But here, they only brought two. Also, ever since my first time ordering the hot chocolate from the Lee Road location, I have always ordered the hot chocolate every single time I've ever came back. It's gigantic, has a huge mound of whipped cream on top, and little powdered chocolate sprinkled onto the whipped cream. It's their regular hot chocolate, too. Not some special thing. Here, the hot chocolate was in a tiny cup with almost no whipped cream and definitely no chocolate shavings. Same price as the Lee Road one though. I posted a pic to show the difference. Anyways, I would still come back whenever I'm in Daytona Beach again. Three stars.

Short staffed. One server handling all of the orders along with one cook. Another server later joined her. I ordered the tilapia florentine and was asked if I wanted soup or salad. My husband ordered the same meal asking if he could substitute his side for scrambled eggs. She informed him it couldn't be done, though we've done it several times before. She returned saying that she could give him the egg, he asked for two with cheese and was advised it would be an upcharge for the cheese. He also ordered a short stack. My salad was brought out with mixed leaves, diced tomatoes and strips of soggy onions already tossed in ranch. While eating my lettuce (definitely not a garden salad), I realized that was not given a choice of soup or salad. I called the server over and inquired. She explained that she forgot so she didn't put anything in when she placed the order. It was tone for the food to arrive so he asked for fruit instead and was informed that it could not be done. He advised that he would just take something home. Our food finally arrived. His side of scrambled eggs with cheese was piping hot and the eggs were hard as though they had been put in the microwave to reheat. He asked for real shell eggs, but they were definitely not. I asked about his pancakes. We heard the server tell the chef not to forget the short stack. Finally his pancakes arrived. The best part of the meal was my bread and water.

Eggs, bacon and pancakes....done right. And with a waitress named Maria everything was perfectly agreeable.

Pretty long wait for summer Sunday morning breakfast, but food was served quickly. Food arrived as ordered. Server and cashier were friendly. Server was attentive and checked on us several times. It isn't gourmet because it isn't gourmet. Who knew? You usually get what you pay for. Here, we got a little more. Decent inexpensive food and lots of variety. That's what IHOP offers. If other reviewers want gourmet, they should go elsewhere. What did they expect? Service and food were great here -- for the price.
